The Red Dot Award for good design and innovation is the ultimate recognition in industrial design. We are therefore extremely proud and excited to have won this prestigious prize with our groundbreaking design for the LivePicture GO, a product of our valued partner Mobilane.
LivePicture Go
In collaboration with Mobilane, a pioneer in innovative and low-maintenance green systems for, among others, offices, we have built a long-lasting and fruitful relationship. We are responsible for the production of the frames for various models of their LivePictures, a unique fusion of art and nature on the wall. At the request of Mobilane, we designed a smaller version: the LivePicture GO. We developed this variant together and it is successfully marketed by Mobilane, especially for use in home interiors.
High-Gloss Frame
LivePicture GO is made entirely of plastic, with our innovative approach paying special attention to the high-gloss frame. To avoid the use of lacquer – due to the costly extra production steps and the impact on the environment – we chose injection molding production with specially developed, extremely scratch-resistant molds. The result is an exceptionally smooth and glossy frame. In combination with the groundbreaking irrigation system for the plants in the LivePicture GO, this was a decisive reason to award the LivePicture GO the Red Dot Award in the garden equipment and garden tools category.
Hall of Fame
As an award-winning product, the LivePicture GO has automatically secured a prominent place in the Red Dot Design Museum, the largest ongoing exhibition of groundbreaking contemporary design in the world. This further highlights the exceptional qualities and the innovative spirit of our QDP design team.
